Tanya has been involved with Back on My Feet since 2011, and is currently serving as Advisory Board Chair. Tanya recently joined Lennox International as Vice President of Talent Management and Corporate HR. Prior to joining Lennox, she led Talent Management at Trinity Industries. She previously spent 11 years at PepsiCo serving in a variety of strategic HR roles focused on leadership and professional development, performance management, organizational transformation, and coaching. She started her career with Accenture, where she was responsible for guiding people and organizations through large-scale change, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Transformation, and Organization Design.
Tanya’s personal mission is to help individuals and organizations achieve their full potential. She has always believed in leading by example, serving in leadership roles in numerous non-profit and service-oriented organizations. She is currently a United Way volunteer and Tocqueville Society Member. She thrives on personal physical challenges as well, particularly her workouts at Orange Theory Fitness.

Ted leads his family’s business, the creators of the SousVide Supreme, the world’s first residential sous vide cooking appliance. Before joining his family’s business, Ted spent over ten years with ACE Cash Express in many roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel.

Ted earned his J.D and M.B.A from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University.
Client Service Partner, Slalom
Angela has been involved with Back on My Feet since 2012. Angela is a Client Service Partner with Slalom consulting and has more than 20 years of technology and management consulting experience in various industries including communications, media and entertainment, health and life sciences, products and financial services. Prior to joining Slalom, Angela was a Senior Manager at Accenture, where she held multiple complex technology consulting roles for several Fortune 500 companies and joint ventures. Additionally, she held a variety of leadership roles with a focus on women's leadership development, corporate citizenship skills-to-succeed initiatives and mentoring programs. Angela is a graduate of Texas A&M University Mays Business School with a degree in Marketing and International Business.
Angela is an avid runner and has been actively involved in Back on My Feet since 2012. When asked about the BoMF, Angela says, “I love running and all of the benefits that it brings – physical and mental fitness, self-confidence and discipline. I’m continually inspired by the BoMF Members and the positive impact that the organization is having on lives in our community.”
Director of Business Channel Marketing, ATT
Tisha has worked in the telecommunications industry for 21 years. She is currently the Director of Business Channel Marketing at AT&T. She has held several diverse leadership positions including a unique opportunity as Director of Sales for Alltel and then AT&T, serving Retail customers on the American Indian Reservations throughout North and South Dakota. Tisha holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and has a Master’s of Business degree.
After attending a Back on my Feet breakfast and hearing three members from diverse lifestyles tell their stories and how the organization impacted their lives, she was sold on the concept. “Through running, the program helped these members set goals and achieve those goals, which ultimately transferred into securing employment and new or renewed confidence. Living in downtown Dallas, I see individuals impacted by homelessness every day. This organization serves that community in a unique way. It is a great privilege to be associated with a life changing program like Back on My Feet.”
Partner and Practice Leader, Business Advisory Services, Grant Thornton
David Hazels has 19 years of public accounting and consulting experience. He is the Business Advisory Services Practice Leader for the Central Region, overseeing all consulting, internal audit, risk management and IT engagements in the region for the practice.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, David was a manager with Arthur Andersen’s business risk consulting group. Prior to his Big Five experience, David was an internal auditor with a Fortune 500 company, including serving as the department’s director. He also served two years with a regional public accounting firm.
David received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from William Jewell College.
Retail Consultant, Story MPC LLC
Rae is a former retail executive with 15 years of experience. She has worked in the corporate offices of Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Gilt.com in both New York City and Dallas, managing merchandise planning for luxury women’s apparel. After 14 years in the corporate world, she left to begin a retail consulting business, Story MPC LLC, and care for her twin boys, Graham and Worth.
A runner since college, Rae and her husband were inspired to get involved with Back on My Feet through their sister-in-law, who is active in the Philadelphia chapter. After seeing the positive impact that Back on My Feet had in the Philadelphia, Craig and Rae sought out the Dallas chapter upon moving to the area in 2015.
Rae holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina.
Assistant Professor of Business Analytics, University of North Texas
Russell Torres is Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the University of North Texas. Russell is responsible for educating undergraduate and graduate students on topics related to the management and analysis of business data. Russell also conducts research on maximizing the value of business intelligence and analytics investments and is the author of one book and numerous scholarly publications.
Prior to his work in academia, Russell served as a Senior Manager with Accenture where he spent 14 years helping design, develop, and deliver custom applications as a member of Accenture’s Architecture, Development and Integration practice. In this capacity, Russell provided expertise for companies in the telecommunications, financial services, and aerospace industries, as well as assisting both state and federal government clients.
Russell holds a PhD in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas, as well as an MS in Management Information Systems and a BS in Bio-Environmental Science, both from Texas A&M University.

Kevin served as the Advisory Board President for the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter from 2011 to 2015 and remained on the board until 2017.
